As we inch close to spring, rate keep inching down... The Feds speak on March 18 & 19th but we dont expect them to lower their rates... Yet the rates are slowly going down, Why? Simply put the U.S. administration's recent implementation of tariffs has introduced uncertainty in the markets, leading to a slowdown in economic activity. This uncertainty has prompted investors to seek safer assets, resulting in lower yields on Treasury securities, which are closely tied to mortgage rates. Consequently, the average rate for a 30-year fixed mortgage continues to decrease, in fact to the lowest since December.
